Mental Health Consumer Council

 

“Nothing About Us Without Us”

 

The purpose of the council is to collaborate and promote an understanding through input, feedback and education between Veterans and staff to improve the quality of mental health services at the DORN VA Medical center.

If you are interested in being on the council you must: have a mental health diagnosis or a family member of someone who does, must not be disruptive in meetings, be able to review situations without them becoming personal, have interest in issues that affect Veterans and be able to attend meetings on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month at 10:00am.

If you have a problem or question that you would like to see addressed by the Mental Health Department of this facility the council can be contacted either via the suggestion box located by the Mental Health Resource table in the indentation by the main door to the mental health area-just past the elevator (not the stakeholder box)-or you may email at:
