1. Get a notebook and write down all the negative things you tell yourself (yes seriously do this in writing).

 

 

2. When you get that done...your next step will be, using the phrase “I am” or “I have”  — change your words to positive ones.

 

For Example:

 

Negative way to think:

      “People think the things I say are stupid.”

 

Change to:

      “I am intelligent and the things I say are worthwhile.”

 

 

3.  Post your positive affirmations somewhere you will see them. —Yes, the bathroom is a legitimate place.

 

4.  Read them every time you pass by.

Your outlook will change.

 

Sounds simple.  But it works.
